Subgroups (Groups.io)
About subgroups
Each committee / team may opt to have a subgroup of their own in Groups.io. Like the neighbors listserv, this subgroup is useful to deliver emails to its members. In this case, emails relevant to the team’s day-to-day work can be shared with its members without disturbing the entire neighbors listserv.
Subgroups may also benefit from having their team events (that are not open to the entire community) on a calendar; or to store their files/wikis…
Add members to a subgroup
Subgroups will have members (usually the convener) who acts as the owner or administrator. This role has the permissions to add more members to the subgroup.
Add files to a subgroup
You can directly add files, photos, wiki to your subgroup so that all its members can access documents.
